Product description:
Curcumin is a natural compound with good anti-inflammatory and anticancer properties.
Among them, turmeric contains about 3% to 6% curcumin, which is a rare pigment with a diketone structure in the plant kingdom. Curcumin is an orange yellow crystalline powder with a slightly bitter taste and is insoluble in water. It is mainly used in food production for coloring products such as intestinal products, canned goods, and soy sauce. Curcumin has the effects of reducing blood fat, anti-tumor, anti-inflammatory, cholagogic, antioxidant, etc. In addition, some scientists have found that curcumin is helpful in the treatment of drug-resistant tuberculosis.

Application:
Food additives
Curcumin has long been widely used as a commonly used natural pigment in the food industry, mainly for coloring canned goods, intestinal products, and soy sauce products. Its usage depends on normal production needs. The product form of functional foods mainly composed of curcumin can be general food or some non food forms, such as capsules, pills, or tablets. For general food forms, yellow colored foods such as pastries, desserts, beverages, etc. can be considered.
Chemical indicator
Used as an acid-base indicator, pH 7.8 (yellow) -9.2 (red brown)
Medicine
Turmeric is a commonly used medicine, and its main bioactive components are curcumins and volatile oils. The former has effects such as lowering blood lipids, anticoagulation, antioxidant, cholagogic, and anticancer; The latter mainly has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and cough relieving effects. Curcumins exert their anticancer effects by inducing malignant tumor cell differentiation, inducing tumor cell apoptosis, and inhibiting various stages of tumor growth, and are widely used in clinical practice.
